The SHSP Communications Coordinating Council
The CCC’s vision is to coordinate, collaborate
and communicate consistent road safety messaging across Louisiana
The Safety Center takes the lead in coordinating efforts undertaken by the Strategic Highway Safety Plan’s (SHSP) Communications Coordinating Council (CCC), a subcommittee that spearheads the development and implementation of the SHSP Communication and Marketing Plan.
The CCC meets at least quarterly via conference call or in-person meeting. Its members include the nine regional safety coalition coordinators and representatives from DOTD, LHSC, FHWA, LSP and the Safety Center. Public information officers, volunteer partners and advocates who have great expertise and interest in communications, public involvement, marketing and advertising are welcome to join the council.
