LOCATION:

October 3, 2014 - Baton Rouge
TTEC Building - Rm 100, 4099 Gourrier Ave.

About the Workshop:
This workshop is intended for local agency engineers and managers responsible for the maintenance and management of transportation related assets such as roads, bridges, signs and other features. Asset management is a tool that provides information to improve decision making regarding preservation and maintenance activities and to maximize available funds in the short and long term. DOTD is funding data collection on the local road system for specific elements related to safety. This effort can be leveraged by the Parishes and Cities to collect data that will benefit other management programs as well as safety. Attend this free workshop to learn more about basic asset management techniques and approaches as well as details about the ongoing data collection program through DOTD and how you can take advantage of this unique opportunity. Case studies and examples from Louisiana parishes and cities will be discussed. Lunch will be provided and PDHs awarded.
