About the Course
Tractor mower combinations may be one of the most underestimated and most deadly pieces of equipment used by public works agencies. The importance of proper operator training can’t be overstated; this course highlights the importance and benefits of good operator training.
This training is designed for operators, foreman and supervisors who are responsible for the safety, maintenance and operation of industrial and agricultural tractors and mowing equipment used for cutting interstate highways, state roads and levee’s. Types of equipment referenced includes the following:

Instructor
Steve Price
Steve Price is a Heavy Equipment Operator Training Specialist with International Training Services (ITS) (USA). Steve has extensive knowledge and experience as a heavy equipment operator trainer. He has worked with most of the leading equipment manufacturers and major contractors on road construction, road maintenance and mining projects in 13 countries. ITS specializes in training operators of heavy equipment, aerial lifts, forklifts, tractor and mower combinations in best operating practices, equipment maintenance and safety procedures. Steve has been providing equipment training to national and international clients for the past 40 years.
Enrollment, Registration, and Cancellation Policy
Registration is required one week in advance of class. You can register online at www.louisianaltap.org. Registrants will receive a confirmation of their reservation. Registration by mail is available if postmarked before the deadline. Registration is $20.00 for municipal or public sector personnel and $40.00 for all others, which covers all materials and breakfast. If we do not have 72 hours advanced notice that you will not attend the seminar, your registration fee will be forfeited.
