U.S. Secretary of Transportation Anthony Foxx
The 2016 LTC Planning Committee is pleased to announce that U.S. Secretary of Transportation Anthony Foxx will join us on Tuesday, March 1 for a special session. Secretary Foxx became the 17th United States Secretary of Transportation in 2013 after serving as mayor of Charlotte, North Carolina. Secretary Foxx leads an agency with more than 55,000 employees and a budget exceeding $70 billion. The Secretary's primary goal is to ensure that America maintains the safest, most efficient transportation system in the world for this and future generations. We encourage all participants to make arrangements to attend this session.
