Field Monitoring and Measurements (FMM) Education

Herein provided is access to all relevant information and outcomes of the National Science Foundation project, “Field Monitoring and Measurements Education: A Model for Civil and Environmental Education.”

The hyperlinks in the left-hand column provide access to all information relevant to the development of the Unit and the Faculty Instructional Resources and Student Education Resources needed for its implementation.

Structural engineering faculty members are invited to explore the information contained herein and possibly adopt the Structural Health Monitoring Education Unit for implementation at their institution. The Project Investigators stand ready to assist faculty members in this process. The Unit was designed to eliminate or minimize the barriers normally faced in such an implementation process as well as do so within the framework and constraints of existing courses and curriculum.
